Bio Facilitator Narrative Coaching The Leadership Coaching Program can be tailored to help you develop competencies that improve the quality of your leadership engagement and collaboration at work, resulting in better decisions and better results. I use a kairos approach in my narrative and leadership coaching. Although kairos is a Greek word with many meanings, I use the concept to invite my clients to experience the extraordinary in ordinary time—to intervene, to interrupt old stories and ways of doing things and to create opportunities that bring about incremental and real change at work and home. Photographer From time to time I capture photographs that evoke feelings that I need to process and articulate. Some of these photographs then become part of my metaphor collection. The beauty of a metaphor is that it can trigger memories, evoke insights, help unfreeze frozen dreams and help illustrate principles of leadership engagement. The story of your life is the most important story you will ever tell. Every day, consciously or unconsciously, you live out the consequences of your life story. The energy you give to it is reflected in the outcomes you experience. Thus, if you change your story, you change your results.
I love photographs that stop me in my tracks. I’m inspired when a photographer captures the natural beauty of our world, an expression or a moment in time and blends it with an artistic approach. When a photographer invites me to view the world with wonderment, or to take action, or I get hooked into a dialogue with the image, then I want to know what steps the photographer followed to hit the sweet spot.
