Empathy?
How can we be authentic when presented with an opportunity to use empathy? Empathy is not having to agree or disagree, its not about giving a value judgment or expressing our feelings in the moment. Its suspending our own judgments and sensing and responding to the unique experiences of another. Go to Empathy?

The pattern
How often have we wanted to advise someone on how to get out of a messy situation? How often have we got caught in a cycle of providing advice and getting a 'yes but' in reply. And slowly we get locked in to trying to rescue this person.

Corporate culture change
Any change in culture needs to involve employees from the beginning. A top-down directive will be viewed with suspicion and misinterpreted, largely because they were never consulted from the start. Go to Corporate culture change

 

Voices
We are often told to do the right thing. But doing the right thing can mean different things to different people—religious influences, our social circle, friends, the rules in our head, laws, societal mores etc.—all impact on our decisions.
